Amplified

Spot On was approached to develop the interior design for Amplified Cafe; a brand new coffee shop for downtown Kamloops. The corner location couldn’t be beat and is attached to the public library and art gallery, so naturally inspiration was drawn from these two city staples.

The layout is simple, efficient, and effective. We maximized the seating capacity with bench seating, while providing a different view of the shop, art, or outdoors for each area. The vertical strips at the front coffee bar is to mimic a stylized version of stacked books. Across from the coffee bar is an ever changing art display curated specifically for this space by the art gallery.

Walnut wood, white, black, and pops of yellow provide a warm yet vibrant colour palette suitable for the exciting corner hub. The overall design is something completely new to the Kamloops coffee scene and suits the Amplified brand.
