Neighbourhood Veterinary Hospital
This new veterinary hospital is located in an old heritage home in the west end of Kamloops. The house was converted to office space in a 1970s renovation but the new owners wanted to bring it back to its historical glory. The floor plan was completely reconfigured to suit the needs of the new clinic, as well as, divide the floors into 2 separate suites.
The interior design of the veterinary clinic utilized some salvaged material, such as original wood barn doors and light fixtures and included more architectural details that spoke to the past. The colour scheme and materials are classic but with a modern flare, using warm wood tones, chevron and hexagon patterns, and large animal motifs. The end result is a boutique style clinic with charm and a sense of home.
